Manchester United are showing excellent results in all four tournaments and reached the domestic Cup final for the first time in six years after hosting the League Cup summit on Wednesday.

Ten Hag quickly realized that improving protection was of paramount importance. And the Dutchman did just that, inviting Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro for a lot of money.
The former Ajax coach focused on the partnership of World Cup winners Rafael Varane and Martinez, as well as the much-maligned pair of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof, acting as a stand-in.
And the 20-time champions of the English League this season occupy fifth place in defense and improve their performance every day.

Due to the fact that Maguire and Lindelof had no opening matches, they were advised to leave the club during the January transfer window.
According to Bild, Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt failed with a loan application on the day of the deadline for the Swede after the manager intervened and blocked the move.
They were encouraged to switch to the Swedish national team player due to the fact that he did not have minutes, and the fact that the player himself expressed interest in moving.
Lindelof wanted to move, but ETH blocked the deal
“The sporting director of Frankfurt, Markus Kresche (42 years old), was still working on a very interesting central defender: Victor Lindelof.
“Lately Lindelof has often been on the bench or in the stands in England. However, new coach Eric ten Hag didn’t want to let him go in the end.
“According to BILD, the player himself would like to come to Frankfurt,” the message says.
Lindelof has only been in the Premier League starting line-up four times and has not played in any major matches. Most of his starts came in the Europa League and the League Cup.
But the Dutch boss does not want to lose cover, given the injury of the Monitor Lizard and the huge number of upcoming games. Lindelof still has a crucial role to play if United succeed this season.
