Erik Ten Hag was clearly disappointed with his team’s 3-2 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
Manchester United was defeated by Arsenal in an interesting meeting for neutrals.
The hosts dominated possession, especially in the second half, and held United back.
Mikel Arteta’s team created more chances and handled the ball much more dangerously.
United showed resilience, but eventually conceded in the last minutes and gave Arsenal all three points.
In his post – match interview , Ten Hag said:
“It really annoys me how quickly they were allowed to score 1-1. But this is the process we are in. We’re not a top team right now. But if we learn a lesson from this, we will be one step closer.”

“They have very good possession of the ball, but we are a good defensive team. There were not so many open moments. We have made mistakes that we cannot make.”
“Today we have to admit that we are not satisfied with this defining performance, because we can achieve more. You are starting well and you should benefit from this situation. It can’t be that you conceded like we did.”
