Enny shared the details of the new project and the intimate London show — all the details below.
The album “We Go Again”, which the artist from South London called a “help package”, will be released on April 13 on FAMM. The six-track collection will include a guest feature from rapper Loyle Karner and is announced by the recent single “No More Naija Men” released last month.
“After I released my first EP, I was so sure that I would never quit any project again, because it seemed to me that I had said everything I wanted to say,” said Annie. “These songs were not conceived as a project; they were created randomly during sessions over the past 18 months, but life has turned them into a gift. A gift of growth and change; a gift to myself as a reminder that I am still capable, and a gift to the people who have joined me on this journey so far. Care package.
She added: “I find out that there is no destination in this life. it’s a constant journey to learn how to work better. The lesson I’ve learned right now is that after every mess, the only thing I can say to myself is, “Fam… we’ll go again.”
The full track listing of “We Go Again” is as follows:
1. ‘U Shld Heal’
2. ‘No More Naija Men’
3. ‘Charge It’
4. ‘2am In Central’
5. ‘Champagne Problems’
6. ‘Take It Slow’
In addition, Enny confirmed that she will give a one-off show at London’s Omeara on April 27. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 on March 31 — you can buy your own here.
“We Go Again” is to follow Enny’s EP “Under Twenty Five”, which was released in July 2021. Instead, she uses her growing fame to highlight the conceptual, narrative-rich British rap scene that deserves more attention.”
