This Tuesday , June 2, 2020 , it will be marked in history thanks to the great global demonstration against racism, especially in the United States. Many have been the celebrities who have joined the #BlackOutTuesday cause , publishing from early in the day a black image on different social networks; being one of them Emma Watson.
The protagonist of Harry Potter , Emma Watson , has been part of this movement, in which justice is demanded for the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer and a better life for all those people of color. However, Emma Watson came in for criticism for posting her black image with white borders, which is not according to what everyone is doing on #BlackOutTuesday.
But the white border is no surprise, since if you browse his personal Instagram , you will notice that in all his photographs he uses the same white border. Something that many did not notice when criticizing it.
Luckily, there are those who have defended it tooth and nail, highlighting the countless times in which Emma Watson has participated in the UN ; as well as supporting movements on women’s rights, equality, education and even the environment.
