Ed Sheeran has donated £ 170,000 to his old school to provide computer equipment for his students.

The musician attended the Thomas Mills School in Suffolk, and it has been commented that the donation is in order to help new students achieve success.

Donations have been made for two years through the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation, and have been used to purchase computers, cameras, and a photographic darkroom.

Sheeran recently participated in a Zoom session to teach a surprise music class to students at the Ecclesbourne Primary School in South London, which was organized by the school’s music director Timothy Spoerer.
