An Easter egg has been discovered on the newly discovered island of Asika, which brings fishing in Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
Asika Island arrived yesterday (February 15) as part of the delayed second season of Warzone 2.0. Players also saw the return of the 1V1 GULAG in Battle Royale mode, difficulty settings, a new exclusion zone for the DMZ, as well as changes in looting and DMZ equipment.
However, YouTuber Geeky Pastimes has already discovered one of the hidden Easter eggs on the island of Asika, which combines the usual relaxing pastime with the opportunity to get impressive loot.

According to The Loadout, players will first need to find some explosive weapons, such as Semtex or Frag Grenades, if they want to go fishing, and then go to one of the various beaches of Warzone 2.0. Once on the shore of Asika Island, players will see fish jumping out of the water and will be able to “use explosives on the fish”, making them available for selection and getting 150 experience points at the same time.
But the fun doesn’t end there. According to Geeky Pastimes, if players then use fish three times on a seal that can be found near the Aquarium of Asika Island, they will be rewarded with various prey items, and the YouTuber claims that they “once managed to get Precision Airstrike. ” from Easter eggs.
“Our team is very excited to finally introduce Ashika Island to the world with the launch of Season 02,” reads the patch notes for Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0. “Thanks to the beautiful Japanese—style location, diverse areas to explore and a lot of secrets to uncover, we hope you enjoy playing in this space just as we liked the art of creating it. Ashika also has much more to offer than meets the eye, so take the time to explore everything.”
Meanwhile, Activision is reportedly offering Warzone 2.0 players a survey to find out which old maps they would like to bring back into the game.
In other news, the first details about the third season of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 were announced.
