DOOM Eternal: Upgrade may take time to arrive

Through a note published on its official blog, Bethesda confirmed that the enhanced version of DOOM Eternal will not be available at the launch of the Xbox Series S / X and PlayStation 5. According to the studio, the game will still be one of its first to win optimized versions in the new generation, however there is still no date for when the upgrade will occur.

Despite the absence of a free upgrade at the launch of the new consoles, DOOM Eternal will be able to be played by both PS5 and Xbox Series S / X players via backward compatibility, but without the upgrades of cutting edge technologies. In addition, users of Microsoft video games will have full access to the game via Xbox Game Pass.

DOOM Eternal is available for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
