Disney Dreamlight Valley players can create fiber from algae. Once they bring Moana to the village, her first friendship quest will involve repairing a broken boat on Dazzle Beach, and players must collect a couple of items for her, in particular, 50 conifers, 70 fibers and 3 pink hydrangeas.
Collecting the necessary coniferous wood and flowers should be fairly simple, but this guide details how to get fiber for Moana in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to get fiber
Before players can make their own fiber at the crafting station, they first need to get some algae. Seaweed can be found on the sand at Dazzle Beach, and players can also get it using their royal fishing rod on the beach. But instead of throwing the line at the bubbles, just try to fish in any random place. There is still a chance that fish will appear, but this method should be used to pull algae most of the time.
Keep in mind that algae can also be found in the following places: Peaceful Meadow, Sunny Plateau, Forest of Valor, Forgotten Lands, Glade of Trust and Frosty Heights.
As soon as players have some algae in their inventory, find the nearest crafting table. Interact with it, after which the Fiber recipe should appear on the “Recycled Material” tab. For each piece of algae, players can get five pieces of fiber. So, to collect 70 Fibers for Moana, players will need to get at least 14 Algae.
Later, players may need to make a rope that can be made from fiber, to be precise, eight pieces.
By the way, players can collect coniferous wood in a Peaceful meadow and on the square. And look for pink hydrangeas on Dazzle Beach.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is already available in early access. To get early access, gamers must pay for the Founder’s Pack or have access to the Xbox Game Pass.
