The future foldable cell phone Galaxy Fold 2 was the target of new figures published on the internet that show how the product should look from recent leaks. According to the specialized website WindowsUnited, the successor to the Galaxy Fold would bring a camera similar to the Galaxy S20 Plus, that is, a complete set with four lenses / sensors and a fifth ToF sensor (flight time, in English), very useful for Portrait Mode.

In addition, the model must come with electronic pen S Pen, as in the Galaxy Note line. The images are renderings, that is, images made by the computer with projections of what may be the final product.

Within the specs, there are assumptions that the camera features 108 MP sensors with up to 100x zoom, just like in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. You can expect a Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm, including support for 5G, in addition to the possibility of 16 GB of RAM.

Analyst Max Weinbach, of the XDA Developers portal, bets that the Galaxy Fold 2 screen will have 7.7 inches with ultra-thin glass. The front sensor should have two arrangements: camera inside the screen when the smartphone is open and another one housed in a drop-shaped notch when the phone is closed.

Max Weinbach also commented on the possibility that the next folding smartphone of the South Korean giant will be presented in July. However, the pandemic of the new coronavirus brings uncertainty regarding the manufacturing process of companies. Samsung’s factories in Manaus and Campinas were recently closed.

As for the price of the device, the bets are that the value is similar to that of the original Galaxy Fold, something around 2,000 euros (R $ 11,285 in today’s exchange rate). For comparison, the first version of the foldable reached the domestic market for R $ 12,999, which enshrined the cell phone as the most expensive in Brazil.
