Bungie’s game once again registers record player numbers on the occasion of the debut of its new major expansion. The title is in great health.
Destiny 2 is being one of the prominent names for the month of November. The debut of Destiny 2: Beyond the Light, which coincides with the beginning of the new generation of consoles, brings to the table a giant expansion that delves into the universe of the Bungie game and offers dozens of hours of content. The response has not been begged for by the community, with a peak of 241,843 players on Steam in the last twenty-four hours.
Destiny 2’s second best historical data on Steam
The day of November 10 has been historic for Destiny 2 on the Valve portal. If the average number of players was already more than positive throughout 2020, with oscillations between 60,000 and 70,000 daily average active users, since the premiere of Beyond the Light, those numbers have skyrocketed. The absolute record was recorded at its launch on this platform, back in October 2019, with a peak of 292,314 players, according to SteamCharts.
Now the second best historical peak of the work is reached and invites optimism, as it is located above Among Us, Apex Legends or PUBG in the list of most played titles on Steam; only behind Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
