Destiny 2: How to Get Kindling (Solstice 2022)

0

Throughout the Solstice event in Destiny 2 this year, the lighter is one of the materials that the Guardians will have to get frequently if they want to upgrade their red-hot armor to the “Fully Reborn” state. Every year, the Solstice event changes slightly, while retaining some of the features that players have come to know and love, such as EAZ. Kindling is a new material that, along with Silver Leaves and Silver Ashes, can only be earned during the Solstice. Once the event ends on August 9th, players will have to wait another year before they can get the Solstice Armor again.

Kindling is just one of the components needed to upgrade Solstice armor in Destiny 2, and the other two are the Silver Leaf and Silver Ash currencies. Obtaining Silver Leaf and Silver Ash materials is a bit more straightforward than obtaining Kindling, although obtaining the latter is not necessarily more difficult. In fact, in order to obtain more igniters, it is sometimes required that the Guardians first receive a certain amount of Silver Leaves or Silver Ashes, which helps simplify the process of obtaining all three.

After first logging in during the Solstice 2022 event, the Guardians may have noticed their new event card with 24 different hidden challenges. Although they remain hidden at first, these trials are the only source of ignition for the Guardians during the Solstice. To unlock the Solstice Event card challenges, talk to Eva Levante in the Tower to begin the Solstice Celebration quest. This chain of tasks consists of eight simple steps, the completion of which should not take the Guards more than 20 minutes. After that, all the trials of the event will be visible immediately, and the Guardians will be able to perform them in any order.

How to Get More Ignition in Destiny 2

Since the ignition material can only be obtained during the trials of the event, the Guardians need to work hard on each trial as quickly as possible to earn full upgrades for the helmet, gloves, breastplate and leg armor. A class item is the only thing that does not require any of the three currencies to improve, and which can be processed as a workshop. However, Masterworking the Solstice class armor completes the Apex Armorer test of Week six in Season of the Haunted, and it can be easily incorporated into any builds that players have previously created before receiving their Solstice armor.

The best way to quickly complete all the trials of an event in Destiny 2 is to complete those that are part of the same action. For example, there are several Bonfire Bash tasks that can be performed simultaneously. Also, some of these Solstice challenges require players to collect silver leaves, so it might be a good idea to prioritize these challenges first.
