Dean Henderson: Manchester United Goalkeeper Is Likely to Leave in The Summer

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is likely to leave the club in the summer.

According to Football Insider, the 26-year-old has admitted that he has no future at Manchester United.

Henderson is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest.

Despite a promising start to his career at United in 2021, Henderson failed to oust the main goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spaniard’s exceptional performances last season allowed him to firmly establish himself in the team list.

In the summer, Erik ten Hag decided to lease Henderson.

After joining Forest, the Englishman criticized United’s “criminal” attitude towards him in an exclusive interview.

“It was frustrating because I turned down so many good loans last summer and they wouldn’t let me go.”

“So, it was unpleasant. Sitting there and wasting 12 months is really a crime at my age.”

Henderson is currently at a crucial stage of his career, and he needs to play consistently in the main squad.

It seems that Manchester United’s dream is far-fetched, and it’s better for him to leave in the summer.

This will increase his chances of getting into the England national team for the upcoming international tournaments.
