A new piece of news released today revealed that a company called Kimtien is selling counterfeit models of major smart brands, including Samsung and Huawei, on AliExpress, one of the world’s leading online retail platforms. In the screenshot below, you see the fake smart phones sold by the company in question. For example; It does not go unnoticed that a model that looks exactly like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is called Kimtien Note 10+.

Clone phones sold by the company named Kimtien find buyers for only a fifth of their originals. The main reason for the gap in price is the low level of hardware used in fake models. For example; a smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor in its original model, with a low profile MediaTek processor in the clone version.

It is seen that most of the fake smartphones in AliExpress are copied from devices belonging to Samsung and Huawei brands.
