Choi Tae-joon will appear in the TV series “Island”!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “The Island” is a new fantasy drama about a dark secret hidden on the beautiful island of Jeju, and about people who are destined to fight evil forces trying to destroy the world. The drama stars Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee and Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO.
Choi Tae Joon will take on the role of Jang Hee, who hides a mysterious past. This role, in particular, will be his first since he had a baby boy with his wife Park Shin Hye last May.
Throughout his career, Choi Tae Joon has demonstrated his acting spectrum in various genres and impressively emphasized the unique personality of his character each time. Last year, Choi Tae Joon unexpectedly appeared in the popular tvN drama “Twenty-five, Twenty-one”, thanks to which he made a lasting impression in the role of Ho Jin, the ex-boyfriend of Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri).
