Choi Hyun Wook will play the main role in the new season of “D.P.”!
On January 10, a source from Choi Hyun Wook’s GOLDMEDALIST agency said, “Choi Hyun Wook will play the lead role in the second season of the Netflix series “D.P.”.” As for his role, the source commented: “Please check out his specific role in the drama.”.
Based on the popular webtoon, “D.P.” (stands for “Pursuit of Deserters”) is a special military unit sent to pursue deserters. Jung Hae-in will play Ahn Joon-ho, a rookie who is being sought for D.P. before he adapted to military life, and Goo Kyo-hwan plays one of the main roles as Han Ho-yeon, the head of the D.P. squad.
Last May, it was confirmed that the main actors, including Jung Hae-in, Goo Kyo-hwan, Song Seok-koo and Kim Sung-kyung, will return for season 2, again showing great chemistry along with the addition of new actors Ji. Jin Hee and Kim Ji Hyun.
Starring in the films “Taxi Driver” and “Racket Boys” in 2021, Choi Hyun-wook continued to impress in 2022, playing “Twenty-Five, Twenty-one” and “Weak Class 1 Hero”.
