The BLACKPINK World Concert Tour was highly praised, receiving both positive and negative reviews depending on the dates.
The band is currently in the middle of the Asian leg of their tour, and has just held a concert in Hong Kong with three concerts from January 13th to 15th.
Only, it seems, after these concerts, some Internet users are angry at Jennie. Some in the Weibo online community say that she didn’t give 100%, but, in addition, she would have shown a dismissive attitude towards Chinese fans.
This topic has become the most popular in the search on Weibo with almost a billion views, and the clip with attacks on Jennie has gained more than 13 million views and 1.2 million likes.
As a result, many netizens lashed out at Jennie via her Instagram, criticizing her for “inappropriate behavior” at concerts in Hong Kong.
Also on Twitter, several Internet users criticized the idol, adding photos and videos “proving” their claims.
Jennie MUST sue a blogger with 4M followers on Weibo, he/she is the one started this cyber-bully campaign on her birthday, idk how much he got paid for this but this is so heartless. If that one has an acc on twitter then we could doxxed easily him but that fad only uses weibo https://t.co/ZJvKBokZPN

After seeing these attacks on Jennie, many fans came to her defense and asked YG to intervene so as not to tarnish the idol’s reputation.
#jennie Many Chinese think that Jen did not perform seriously at the Hong Kong concert and that she didn't like China and did not respect Chinese fans. Ironically, none of them went to Hong Kong because they saw fake videos posted by people who hate Jen in DouYin.Look this pic🙏 pic.twitter.com/y1DhIOCNzV
