HMD Global has announced the hiring of a new head of product marketing for its smartphone department. The chosen one was former marketing director at OnePlus Europe, Adam Ferguson. He will be responsible for the strategy of this sector in the products and portfolio of Nokia handsets.
Ferguson will report directly to the recently appointed director of marketing (CMO), Stephen Tayler. It comes in after the recent announcement of the Nokia 8.3 5G – the model with the most compatible frequencies in the fifth generation network on a device so far.
The new contractor from the Finnish manufacturer highlighted his satisfaction in working for the company. For him, Nokia devices inspire confidence and have the ability to captivate the public.
“As a mobile phone enthusiast, I am delighted to be able to work at HMD Global. There aren’t many devices that captivate the public and inspire as much confidence as Nokia smartphones. I look forward to fulfilling that legacy and helping to offer brand fans what they expect: the best quality design and the latest technology at an affordable price. ”
