The Call of Duty: Warzone community has detected a major problem in the Ghost perk. Gamers state that Ghost buff, which gives privacy against tracking systems, doesn’t work against heartbeat sensors.
Call of Duty: Warzone takes the perk system in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer mode to the battle royale arena. Perks allow players to gain an advantage with various features when they receive special equipment sets that come with replenishments.
The Perk system is not very well balanced in the battle royale game Warzone. For example, thermal binoculars in the game make it compulsory to use Cold Blooded. On the other hand, Dead Silence makes it almost impossible to hear footsteps that are already quiet enough. Thus, sometimes the players become very advantageous, and sometimes they can be in a difficult situation.
Ghost Perk in Call of Duty: Warzone doesn’t work against heart rate sensor
Call of Duty: Warzone players have been discussing a major bug in Ghost perk recently. Ghost buff hides players from an active enemy UAV or any other radar. However, while Ghost was enabled, it was discovered that players could be detected in heartbeat sensors.
A Reddit user suggested that despite using Ghost perk in Warzone, it is still visible on enemy sensors. Many players think that this is an unfair situation and that Ghost should give privacy against heartbeat sensors, UAVs and other weather discoveries such as drone.
Ghost perk error is thought to have occurred with the Modern Warfare Season 3 update. Some players reported that Ghost was hiding from heartbeat sensors before the update. One section also argued that the change to the Ghost perk could be for balancing purposes and full invisibility was too strong.
Infinity Ward has not yet commented on the players’ problem with Ghost perk. However, if it is not a deliberate balancing, we can see that this bug has been fixed in the next update.
