Literature has given the group the best ideas for their songs.

With 2 new comebacks on the doorstep, BTS has made the decision to divide the tasks for the new album, each of them will develop a new facet in their career while taking care of every detail of the album, from the administrative and compositional musical area.

During its releases, BTS has had some songs that have been inspired not only by ideas or feelings, the books have been important for the boys , with whom they have found a way to transmit the message to ARMY from different themes, we tell you what they are .

HARUKI MURAKAMI’S “KAFKA ON THE SHORE”
He is one of the most recognized Japanese writers today. Namjoon was inspired by this book for the lyrics of “Butterfly”. The plot revolves around a boy who runs away from his father’s house to avoid a bad fate, it also talks about an old man who suffered from the Second World War and is dedicated to collecting stray cats, his fate is involved in a certain way, in a philosophical level, the song, portrays the illusion of something that one fears losing.

HERMANN HESSE’S “DEMIAN”
“Blood, Sweat & Tears” was inspired by the story and symbolism of this book. The story tells about a boy who, in order to have a real vision of the world, has to leave childhood behind and begin to account for the temptations that surround him, as well as the materialism that lived before.

KIM CHUNSU’S “FLOWER” POEM
Text that inspired Jimin’s “Serendipity”. The stanzas talk about wanting to show that we are here for something, validating our existence before others and the idol sings: “Since the universe was created, everything was destined”, serendipity means an unexpected, valuable and fortunate finding that was not sought , but found inadvertently.

“HAMELIN’S FUTIST”
The boys made a metaphor through the song “Pied Piper”, where they talk about the support that ARMY has shown, music has been the connection that unites BTS and ARMY thanks to their messages, the work talks about a flute player who helps to a town to get rid of the rats, but by not paying him, he plays the instrument taking all the children enraptured by his notes.

JAMES R. DOTY’S “INTO THE MAGIC SHOP”
The boys have a Magic Shop song inspired by this autobiography that narrates “The mission of a neurosurgeon to discover the mysteries of the brain and the secrets of the heart”. Namjoon has given emotional speeches to ARMY about self-love, BTS songs also have a message about fears, sufferings and love, the book talks about a magical place where you find refuge and the necessary elements to change your life, they want to be that path or solution for your fans.

FINALLY, JUNG’S MAP OF THE SOUL: AN INTRODUCTION ”BY DR. MURRAY STEIN
“PERSONA” was the introduction for the album “Map of the soul persona”, Namjoon was in charge of singing this single, which portrays Carl Jung’s teachings on the soul, since the human mind is also a terrain that is Unknown or has many paths to explore, BTS has always manifested in his songs that part of the human being that we are afraid of or that we do not know, but that makes us who we are.

The boys have found inspiration in different ways, perhaps they can pick up a book for their next comeback that will be released in October , there is still no definite concept, but they already shared some key words and the first advances.
