The historic rock and roll nightclub, informally known as The Whisky, was founded in the early 1960s and is a staple of WeHo, as it has been featured in films such as Night at Roxbury, The Banger Sisters and Get to the Greek. and he welcomed such artists as Guns N’ Roses and KISS on his stage.

The newly minted Oscar winner signed on the infamous whiskey wall in a nightclub, for which he was reportedly ridiculed because of his bad handwriting, and greeted fans congratulating him on a successful career, TMZ reports.

A local Fast Times group uploaded a photo of them, in which the actor spews devil horns with the caption: “What do you do the night after you win the Oscar for the lead role? You come to the whiskey and party with Fast Times, of course. His son Leland is a guitarist, so we invited him to play with us with DJ Ashba, and they just lit up. #oskarwinner#brendan fraser #whiskyagogo#last night”

Emotions were running high after the Oscar-winning actor’s welcoming speech at the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday evening.

“I started this business 30 years ago and it wasn’t easy for me, but there was an opportunity that I didn’t appreciate at the time — until it stopped,” he told the audience. “I just want to thank you for this recognition, because it would not have been possible without my cast.

“It was like I was on a dive expedition at the bottom of the ocean, and the air on the way to the surface is on a boat that some people in my life are watching. Thanks again to everyone. I am so grateful to you.”

“The Whale” became Fraser’s first Hollywood film in almost 10 years and the first starring role after the thriller “Escape” in 2013.

Fraser was also praised for showing himself to be a “class man” on the BAFTA 2023 red carpet.

In a conversation with the presenter on the red carpet Ali Plumb , Fraser received a bumper sticker with the inscription: “Sign up if you prefer to watch the 1999 cinematic masterpiece The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.”

“I don’t know where this will fit, but maybe one of your many people…” Plumb began, before Fraser took the stickers and put them in his jacket pocket. “Cool,— Plumb said, and Fraser promised to “hang it on the back of my jacket if I win.”
