Actor and producer Brad Pitt has become a sex symbol since he burst onto the stage in the movie “Thelma and Louise”. He was particularly dominant in the 90s and early 2000s thanks to film roles and relationships with other celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow. His appearance and fame were so famous that his name was mentioned in Shania Twain’s popular single “That Don’t Impress Me Much”. And Pitt has an A+ reaction to the fact that Twain recently called Ryan Reynolds instead of him during a live performance.
Recently, Shania Twain has been experiencing a renaissance: a new album (and a racy nude cover), a role in the film “Beauty and the Beast: Celebrating the 30th anniversary” and several appearances at television events. She recently sang “That Don’t Impress Me Much” at the People’s Choice Awards, where she replaced Brad Pitt’s name with Ryan Reynolds’. The “Fight Club” actor was recently asked about this switch, and his answer got into TikTok. He had a funny reaction saying:
I think we can share the wealth there. Yeah, Ryan’s doing great, too. He deserves a little love.
Here it is. It seems Brad Pitt wasn’t too angry to learn that Shania Twain traded him for Ryan Reynolds during a performance at the PCA. But considering that the two actors from the A-list seem to have a great relationship (illustrative example: it’s a cameo in “Deadpool 2”), maybe it shouldn’t be a surprise.
Brad Pitt’s comments about Shania Twain came about because he was promoting his role in Damien Chazelle’s film Babylon, which recently received three Oscar nominations. He seemed surprised to learn that the exchange of names took place at the PCA and that Ryan Reynolds was involved. We remind you that you can watch this moment from Shania Twain’s speech, which quickly went viral on the web.

It’s hard to believe, but “That Don’t Impress Me Much” was actually released in 1998 along with Shania Twain’s third studio album. The track has remained a part of pop culture thanks to a truly iconic video clip, as well as cheeky lyrics. Although Brad Pitt was the first actor to be called out, he has a few suggestions as to who might get her attention next. As he put it,
Next time she should sing it to Austin Butler, maybe Leo in between, and then Austin Butler.
To be honest, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched. If Shania Twin had sung her iconic track at the Academy Awards, she could easily have made fun of Austin Butler. He’s received a ton of praise for his performance in “Elvis,” while people online are making fun of the fact that he seems to still use the King’s voice in real life. Now the question is whether Twain is very impressed.
Brad Pitt has a number of interesting projects ahead of him both as an actor and as a producer. In the meantime, check out the movie’s release dates in 2023 to plan your next movie.
