‘Black Panther’ actor Chadwick Boseman dies at 42

On the night of Friday (28), the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, interpreter of the character Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was confirmed. Chadwick had been battling colon cancer for four years.

“It is with immeasurable regret that we confirmed the death of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer in 2016, and has battled him for the past four years as he progressed to stage 4,” published the actor’s family on his profile on Twitter.

In 2014, the actor also starred as James Brown in Get on Up, a film based on the life of artist James Brown.
