Bitfinex takes 87 cryptocurrencies off the exchange. One of the most important cryptocurrency exchanges, Bitfinex will be listing 87 cryptocurrencies starting March 26.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex has announced that it will again list many other cryptocurrencies after removing 45 cryptocurrencies from the stock exchange earlier this month.

According to the announcement, the stock exchange will remove 87 cryptocurrencies in total from 13.00 on 26 March 2020 due to weak trading volumes.

Users were asked to cancel their open orders in these pairs. Orders that are not canceled will be automatically canceled by the system. Bitfinex emphasized that these cryptocurrencies can continue to be traded with other pairs in the stock market.

The stock market hopes that with the removal of these pairs, the platform will offer a more streamlined and optimized trading experience.

After implementing this decision, 368 active trading pairs in Bitfinex will be reduced to 281. The majority of the transaction pairs to be removed are Ethereum pairs. More than 50 Ethereum pairs will be unlisted, and 18 Bitcoin pairs will be closed. Stellar, Tether, Euro and Pound pairs in various altcoins will also be canceled.

The list of couples to be removed is in the official statement.

The stock market, which has been in existence since 2012, is among the most important crypto exchanges with its $ 400 million volume in the last 24 hours.
