On the night of Saturday to Sunday, Beyoncé passed on an important message about the inequalities that African-Americans are facing in the face of the Covid-19.
Saturday evening, a charity concert “One World: Together at home” was co-organized by Lady Gaga. It therefore brought together more than 70 artists.
The purpose of this concert was therefore very simple! It was about “celebrating and telling the stories of those on the front lines. Caregivers and their acts of bravery ”
So that’s what Lady Gaga announced. Several big stars were therefore present. Like Céline Dion, Elton John and Paul McCartney. But also Beyoncé.
And justly ! The American singer therefore took this opportunity to thank the nursing staff. “Who works far from his family to take care of ours”.
Beyoncé also addressed a tender thought to all those working in this difficult time: “We also thank all those working in the food industry. In delivery services… ”
“And mail distribution … In garbage pickup (…) I know it’s hard but be patient. Stay brave. Stay positive. Keep the faith. And therefore continue to pray for our heroes. ”
“This virus is killing black people at an alarmingly high rate here in America. Please protect yourselves. We are one family and we need you. We need your voices, your abilities and your strength all over this world” – Beyoncé #TogetherAtHome pic.twitter.com/CE6oJG2q7s

BEYONCÉ: ITS POLITICAL MESSAGE
And that’s not all ! Beyoncé also delivered a very important political message. A message for African Americans.
“African-Americans are part of the working class who do not have the luxury of being able to stay at home.”
“The African American community as a whole has been very affected by the crisis. So the virus is killing black people at an alarming rate in the United States ”
Indeed, the health authorities of Houston city: hometown of the singer made a sad observation. They therefore proved that 57% of those who died from Covid-19 were African-American.
However, this community represents only 22.5% of the city.
- One thing is certain! The message from Jay-Z’s wife was therefore widely shared!
