Ryan Reynolds knows how to see potential. And this is the view that has led him to great success when it comes to investment, marketing and production. Currently, the actor owns the production company “Maximum Effort”, is also the owner of a football club and, most likely, will head a hockey club. Meanwhile, a key piece of evidence of Reynolds’ talent-spotting ability was demonstrated when the Deadpool actor was promoting his sci-fi movie “The Free Guy.”

He immediately realized that many fans of “Stranger Things” have yet to see. In 2021, the Deadpool actor stole Shane Levy from the Uncharted adaptation to direct Fox’s first movie after its acquisition by Disney. Not to mention that there was also a faceoff between Ryan Reynolds and the actor of the TV series “Stranger Things” Joe Keary. While the movie was absolutely thrilling and grossed $302.4 million to prove it, it’s the helpful behind-the-scenes moments between Ryan Reynolds and Joe Keary that still make us swoon.
Ryan Reynolds Unabashedly Craves Joe Keary
The necessary predicament that one has to face when watching “Stranger Things” is what happened to Nancy. Identifying the character with Steve (Joe Keary) has always been the subject of Twitter rants, both good and bad. However, to compensate for the grief his character went through, or simply because he has functional eyes, Ryan Reynolds called Joe Keary a “Damn Snack.” Nancy from “Stranger Things” never looked at him, but Ryan Reynolds from “Deadpool” definitely did.

In 2019, during New York Comic Con, when asked about what it was like to work with the actor from “Stranger Things”, Reynolds said: “He represents the exposition better than anyone I’ve ever seen in my life. He makes it fun and exciting, looking like a damn snack all the time.”
Reynolds said what most of us have every time we see an actor. On the work front, John Keary is going to prove himself at his best as Steve Harrington in the fifth season of “Stranger Things,” while Ryan Reynolds has his mercenary with a mouth in the best shape for his role in Marvel.
