GOT7 member BamBam presented his first full-length album “Sour & Sweet” along with the video clip for the single of the same name.
Today (March 28), the Thai K-pop idol returned with his debut studio album “Sour & Sweet». The release was accompanied by a video clip for his main single, in which the singer plays cat and mouse with a potential love interest.
“It’s sour and then sweet / Sometimes I can be more than what you see / It tastes like fantasy, fantasy / Dare to try or get into my recipe / It’s sour, it’s sweet,” he sings in a dance pop song.
«Sour & Sweet” includes eight tracks, seven of which, including the title track, were co-written with vocalist GOT7. BamBam also participated in writing several songs for the record, including “Take It Easy”, “Ghost” and “Tippy Toe”.
During a recent press conference dedicated to the album, the singer shared that the new album tells the story of his journey since arriving in South Korea as an intern, Kpop Herald reports.
“‘Feather’ shows me when I first appeared, and ‘Wings’ depicts the very last me,” he said. “Although I am not a superstar, I have fulfilled many dreams and I have something to strive for, now with my fans as wings.”
«Sour & Sweet” also marks BamBam’s first solo comeback in more than a year after the release of his second mini-album “B” in January 2022.
In May last year, BamBam joined his GOT7 bandmates for their first comeback after leaving longtime agency JYP Entertainment in early 2021. The Septet released a mini-album of the same name, led by the single “NANANA”.
BamBam is currently signed to Abyss Company, which employs artists such as Sunmi, Sandara Park, Urban Zapaka and others.
