Apple: On Thursday (9), one of the most important design publications in the world – the British Wallpaper – published an exclusive report in which it shows the secret Apple headquarters, in the small city of Cupertino, United States. For those used to seeing just that one-mile circumference, this is the first opportunity to see the Apple from the inside “deep diving into the working processes behind its latest creations”.
Hosted by Evan Hankey and Alan Dye, head of design and vice president of human interface design at Apple respectively, Wallpaper was the first media team to enter the Apple Park studio. In addition to revealing previously unseen campus locations, the Brits showed previously unseen footage of Apple’s design team working on various product designs.
What was revealed in the unpublished photos from Apple’s headquarters?
Internal images from Apple’s creative studio show new processes involved in producing world-famous devices like the iPhone 13 and the Watch Series 7 smart watch. and Apple Watch and even an audio designer working in Design Studio.
According to Hankey and Dye, Apple Park was “designed for unexpected meetings as well as collaboration.” The “quiet and calming” environment began with Steve Jobs and Jony Ive, the Brit who participated in the creation of various products such as iPod, iPad, iPhone, MacBook Air and Apple Watch. The partnership marked the beginning of Apple’s unique design ethic.
