Google announced on Thursday (18) that Apple TV is finally available to be accessed on Chromecast with Google TV. The integration had been announced in December last year, but it started to work globally only today.
From now on, whoever has the device and subscription to the streaming service will be able to watch all of Apple’s original content. Among the highlights of the platform are the Ted Lasso series, which was recently nominated for a Golden Globe, For All Mankind, The Morning Show and Servant.
In the United States, Google TV users will still be able to access original Apple productions in a menu with personalized recommendations. In addition, you can also use the Google Assistant to open specific attractions or the application itself. These features will only reach the rest of the world in the coming months.
“Chromecast with Google TV has the latest technology – streaming crisp video at up to 4K HDR and up to 60 frames per second,” says an excerpt from Google’s statement on the subject.
The integration will also benefit those who own Sony and TLC TVs with Google TV. According to the company, this feature should also reach other Android devices in the coming months.
