MacMagazine announced that Apple Pay may be starting to accept the registration of Neon cards. According to the article, at least three reports from users confirmed the novelty – which would make the company the first 100% Brazilian digital bank to enter the platform.
However, the release appears to have been suspended, as further attempts have been unsuccessful. This may indicate that tests are being carried out and that soon the possibility can be opened to the entire public.
So far, only large institutions are accepted, such as Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Itaú and Porto Seguro – and the modality is already conquering an increasingly larger market.
Neon did not comment on the case. Still, this is a welcome move, as the option of payments by approximation represents a security measure in the fight against the coronavirus.
