Leaks indicate that the arrival of Apple AirPods Studio, Apple’s first over-ear headset, is near. Information revealed by the EverythingApplePro channel confirms that the firmware for the new headphones is now ready to be integrated into production.
According to the youtuber, the information comes from developer Max Weinbach of the XDA Developers community. The source says the Apple AirPods Studio firmware has been finalized by the company and will be integrated into production models. In addition, the official unveiling of the new headphones may take place at the next WWDC 2020, scheduled for June 22.
Rumors related to Apple’s first over-ear headset have been on the internet for months. In May, Jon Prosser – a frequent source of leaks – revealed that the new headphones would come for $ 349 and were being discussed internally under the codename B515.

Still, information about Apple AirPods Studio is sparse. It is speculated that the handset will have a retro look and exchangeable parts for greater durability. For comparison, the company’s new phone would look like Beats products, a brand belonging to Apple.
Because it is a high-end phone, features such as active noise cancellation; wireless connectivity and integration into the Apple ecosystem are also expected. Detailed details such as autonomy, sound quality and IP protection are still a mystery. It remains to wait for WWDC 2020 to have all the answers.
