Anti-5G: Although science and technological progress have won, there is still room for thousands of crazy conspiracies like Flat Earth. Now, conspiracy business owners have created a necklace that claims to protect people from 5G mobile networks, but it also emits radiation.
The Netherlands Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS) has issued a warning about ten products that are supposed to protect people from 5G and emit harmful ionizing radiation. Long-term use of radioactive products, however, can cause health problems.
5G is not harmful to health
Importantly, there is no real evidence that 5G networks harm the health of human beings. The World Health Organization (WHO) has even said that the networks are as secure as the 3G and 4G signals, which we have been using for a long time.
Among the prohibited products, there was a sleeping mask, bracelets, a necklace and others. Fortunately, here in Brazil, the fashion for anti-5G items hasn’t arrived yet.
“Don’t use [these products] anymore, store them safely and wait for return instructions. Dutch sellers known to ANVS have been informed that the sale is prohibited and must be stopped immediately, and that they must inform their customers about this,” the Dutch agency said in a statement.
Around here, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) ratified the result of the auction of 5G frequencies a few weeks ago, which moved over R$ 47 billion — the available frequencies are 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 3.5 GHz and 26 GHz.
