Dark mode was officially launched on Android with Android 10 last year. Likewise, with iOS 13, iOS users also got dark mode. Now, the apps are slowly in the dark mode. Now Google Search will darken in dark mode.
Google Search takes action for dark mode
A tweet was shared from Twitter for Google Search and said dark mode was available for iOS 12 and 13 along with Android 10. The app will work according to what mode the system settings are for those using Android 10 or iOS 13. iOS 12 users will be able to switch to dark mode through the application.
Starting today & fully rolling out this week, dark mode is now available for the Google App on Android 10 and iOS 12/13. By default, the Google App will reflect your device’s system settings in Android 10 & iOS 13. If that’s set to a dark theme, the app will be in dark mode…. pic.twitter.com/ZqSD33ZhNt

Google does A / B testing on most Android apps, so it may take some time for the update to spread to all users. Of course, you shouldn’t be expecting full black like Facebook Messenger or Instagram. Google Search will also appear in a dark gray tone.
