Anatel: This Monday (22), Anatel sent an additional letter to Starlink, Elon Musk’s company, requesting more documents to approve the performance of the SpaceX project in Brazil. The official letter aims to adapt the company’s request to the General Regulation for Satellite Exploration, after the Minister of Communications, Fábio Faria, met with Musk last week.
According to a Teletime report, the letter sent requests the following information and documentation:
Declaration in which it certifies that it is not prohibited from bidding or contracting with the Government, has not been declared disreputable or has not been punished, in the previous 2 (two) years, with the decree of expiry of the concession, permission or authorization of telecommunications service , or forfeiture of the right to use radio frequencies;
Declaration that they are capable of performing the relevant activity, as well as the existence of adequate technical personnel available to carry out the object of authorization;
Declaration of compliance with applicable regulations and awareness of the grant conditions.
