Streamer Caitlin “Amouranth” Siragusa criticized fans for their “ignorance”, claiming that her content has not changed after her separation from her abusive ex-husband.
Back in October 2022, Amouranth shared that she had been abused by her husband in a frank and exciting live broadcast.
After the stream, she confirmed that she had broken up with her ex-husband, and her content took a new direction.
However, she continues to face trolling online. As a rule, anonymous commenters say that she has not changed her conclusion, despite the fact that she previously stated that her abusive ex-husband forced her to content that she did not quite like.
In a Twitter thread on January 11, Amouranth again responded to criticism, attacking the “ignorance” of those who make accusations against her.
Amouranth criticized the “ignorant approach” to its content
In a tweet from her personal account — wildkait — she explained that a complete “180” in content would never have been possible, given the state in which she works and the direction in which she was already moving.
“THE most ignorant opinion I come across is when people say, ‘LOL, you haven’t changed your content — you’re a liar,'” she said. “I DIRECTLY HIRE about 20 people, I indirectly (services, editing, etc.) pay/work with about 9 more people.
“It would be selfish and irresponsible to turn 180° at any moment. I notified my “obscene” employees 60 days in advance, letting them know that they could find another job, but their positions would be blocked for 2 months.”
It would be selfish and irresponsible to do a 180 at a moment notice. I gave 60 days notice to my “lewd” content staff letting them know they could find other employment but that their positions would be locked in for 2 months.

She continued by stating that she had chosen a “compassionate” path and had successfully found “new positions for each individual employee.”
“At the moment, anyone who says I’m not in control of the situation is going down a parasocial rabbit hole,” she concluded. “Now I’m doing what I want, and although many people seem to like to misinterpret my initial words, it’s always been about personal intervention.”
different content from day 1 (or marry them). Casting doubt about my autonomy is their new cope.

Although there were naturally few detractors, the majority of respondents praised the creator.
Some have made particular criticism from YouTube streamer Destiny about Amouranth’s content, but Siragusa explained that her comments were not addressed to him.
