On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S the main highlight is that the game makes its debut on Xbox Game Pass. So subscribers to the service will be able to start playing for free as soon as Among Us arrives on the platform, which takes place on December 14th.
The PS4 and PS5 end up without that advantage, but as a kind of “consolation” prize, the game will offer exclusive Ratchet & Clank cosmetics on the platform. The items, however, will not be available at launch, only arriving later on a date not yet announced.
In its post on the PlayStation blog, InnerSloth also informs that the game will crossplay with other platforms, without specifying exactly which ones. But, as it’s not restricted to PlayStation, we can infer that everyone will be able to play together, regardless of where the game is.
The team behind the game thanks the fans for their support and themselves say the game was “huge out of nowhere”. With a collaboration on Fortnite and the arrival on consoles, it should get even bigger.
