A new smartwatch is attracting the attention of consumers abroad: the Amazfit Neo arrived quietly this week, without any launch event, but it is winning over users in search of a retro look. Manufacturer Huami, which has Xiaomi among its shareholders, claims that the model can stay connected for up to 28 days.
The device was presented by Chinese media in three color options: green, red and black. It is being sold for as little as US $ 39.99.
The Chinese manufacturer guarantees that the 1.2-inch screen can stay on 24 hours a day. In addition, the model features cardiac monitoring, sleep control and water resistance. Its battery is 160m Ah and, according to the official data provided, it tends to be fully charged in 2.5 hours.
Amazfit Neo has a Bluetooth 5.0 connection, which should allow you to receive call notifications and other cell phone alerts. The product comes in a box with the watch, bracelet, charging base and instruction manual and is compatible with systems from Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 onwards.
Interestingly, this product has a retro look, reminiscent of Casio brand watches that were very popular in the 80s, but are still on sale today.
There is no forecast for launch in Brazil. On the other hand, it is worth remembering that Xiaomi is the largest shareholder of the Chinese manufacturer and has already brought devices such as the Amazfit GTS and Biz Lite, for example.
