Alec Baldwin: Brandon Lee’s Family Talks About Tragedy On Rust’s Set

Alec Baldwin: The world of cinema came into shock this Friday (22) with the news that a shot with a scenographic gun made by actor Alec Baldwin ended up killing director of photography Halyna Hutchins. The case took place on the filming set of Rust, a western feature film that is being filmed in New Mexico (USA).

The tragedy made the actor Brandon Lee’s family speak out on social media. The son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee was killed in 1993 while filming The Crow when he was hit by a real bullet.

“Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and Joel Souza [the director who was also shot and was hospitalized] and everyone involved in the incident in ‘Rust’. No one should be killed by a gun on a movie set. Period,” says the publication of Brandon Lee’s official Twitter account, which is updated by his sister, Shannon Lee.

Alec Baldwin’s case shocked the movie industry and several other personalities spoke about the case, wishing condolences for Halyna Hutchins’ family and a good recovery for director Joel Souza.
