According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are closely monitoring Ajax striker Mohamed Kudus.
A reliable reporter claims that the Red Devils are among the Premier League clubs keeping an eye on Ganz.
United have been closely linked with the player throughout the tournament, with Erik ten Hag previously managing the versatile striker.
Unfortunately, Kudus was not able to play much under Ten Hag during their time together at Ajax, as the Ghana star suffered a number of injuries, due to which he did not play almost the entire season.
Ready and firing, Kudus is now the talk of many clubs in Europe.
Having impressed in Qatar during the World Cup, it is not surprising that Kudus arouses such interest.
But Ajax have not yet received any official offers for the 22-year-old, Romano says.
“At the moment I’ve been told there are no negotiations,” he told Give Me Sport.
“I think we have these rumors because Manchester United scouts, like many others from the Premier League, four or five clubs from the Premier League, have sent their scouts to follow Mohamed Kudus at the World Cup with Ajax.
Although a move in January is unlikely, United will likely continue to keep a close eye on Kudus as he continues his development in the Eredivisie.
But given that the playmaker showed impressive results in the Champions League group stage, during which he scored four goals and twice provided an assist, and then at the World Cup, Kudus may have already convinced the clubs that he is ready to step up next season.
It remains to be seen whether this next move will reunite him with Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
