When the revolutionary singer Carrie Norwich wrote in 1998: “When one door closes, another opens wide” in 1998, it is unlikely that the story of how DC ousted Henry Cavill only to have other major studios fall to their knees was her inspiration, but to say that it is the personification, wouldn’t be something far away. After allowing the British actor to return to his signature role in “Black Adam” and make an exciting announcement about his return to the District of Columbia, when fans were discussing what the next movie with Cavill’s Superman in the title role would be, the District of Columbia decided to back off. Fortunately for Henry Cavill, fans are fed up that the actor didn’t get the recognition he deserved. And I decided to send my portfolio to the place of every iconic comic book character imaginable. And we can’t discuss iconic characters without mentioning the best half of the Caped Crusaders.
Not Superman, but Henry Cavill can play Robin in Washington
Cavill, on the same account where he excitedly announced his return to DCU, wrote in the opposite spirit that there is no place for him as Superman in the universe. And James Gunn admitted it. In the process of updating the DC universe to establish the same connection that Marvel has with its fans, the director was what the Internet likes to call sus.

When asked if Batman was still part of the DCU, Gunn replied, “He’s a big part of the DCU.” He also did not incite that there would be a Batman movie, and did not deny it. So the fans did what they do best and started making assumptions. The Batman movie featuring his better half Robin was the clear winner.
And Henry Cavill is perfect for this role again. The actor previously revealed his friendship with Batman in the movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Therefore, his role as Batman’s beloved friend should not be surprising.
