After Robert Downey Jr. Sacrificed Himself in The Avengers Finale, Is He Going to Return For a Cameo Scene With Tom Holland?

Every year, the Marvel project is released. Despite the fact that every year the studio releases first-class films featuring different superheroes, 2019 has become one of the most ambitious and at the same time the most shocking for the Marvel fandom. Robert Downey Jr. may return to the MCU Again

“Iron Man” (2008) marked the beginning of one of the largest film franchises, also known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The game of Robert Downey Jr. made Iron Man a sensation among the masses. However, 11 years later, Iron Man died in the Finale of The Avengers, which became one of the most tragic events in the history of the MCU. But the actor hopes to return to the franchise for a short role.

According to Giant Freaking Robot, the “Dating” actor may wear an Iron Man costume for a cameo scene in “Spider-Man 4” featuring Tom Holland. This film will be Robert Downey Jr.’s eleventh appearance in a Marvel movie. Tony Stark and Spider-Man have one of the most exciting relationships. It was Tony Stark who first recruited the young Spider-Man Tom Holland in the movie “Captain America: Standoff”. Although there is no confirmation, seeing an Iron Man cameo, albeit a short one, will certainly be exciting for fans.

Meanwhile, it’s still intriguing how the studio will bring Iron Man back after the scene of his death. Sony will surely go all in to find a way to bring him into the Spider-Man franchise. One way to attract Stark would be to show him in the title role as a variant from an alternate universe. Only time will tell how the actor will return to the MCU.

Also, there are no updates on when “Spider-Man 4” will appear on the big screens. Neither the studio nor Tom Holland shed any light on the release date of the film.
