S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Last Wednesday (15), GSC Game World had announced that players could use NFTs to become a meta-human within S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl. However, the community did not like the idea very much and ended up making its voice heard on social media, leading the producer to cancel this possibility.

“Dear Stalkers, we’ve heard from you. Based on the feedback we’ve received, we’ve decided to cancel anything NFT related in STALKER 2. The interests of fans and players are top priority for the team. whatever the cost. If you’re worried, we’re worried too,” says a message posted by the producer on Twitter.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be available to the public from April 28, 2022 in PC and Xbox Series X versions.
