A Streamer on Twitch Has Been Sharply Criticized After Trolling Fans With a Humiliating Request

Twitch streamer Sapharic was criticized on Twitter after trolling fans with a satirical statement that viewers go to the toilet while watching streams.

It’s no secret that Twitch is a fantastic way to gain popularity and expand the online community. The streaming platform allows content creators to interact directly with viewers by entertaining them.

It’s also a great way to boost your ego, as some Twitch streamers acquire big rights and feel that their audience “owes” them for the entertainment they provide. Whether in the form of donations, subscriptions, or even just their attention, some streamers have been criticized over the years for demanding strange requests from their viewers.

Oddly enough, this is exactly what happened when, on January 16, Twitch streamer Safarik tweeted a satirical request to her fans.

In a tweet, Safarik sarcastically joked that Twitch viewers need to “stop taking bathroom breaks and move away” from their computer while watching the broadcast. Then she explained her outlandish point of view.

“It’s disrespectful and rude. We find time these days to entertain you. The least you can do is watch.”

Some users understood the satire that sapharic was aiming for and responded in kind. “That’s for sure. That’s why I wear a diaper when I watch streams,” one of the answers says.

Some have even gone so far as to introduce new strategies to help viewers clean up potty breaks.

However, others did not understand so quickly and fully believed Safarik’s will, which is why she caught a lot of heat for her comment.

“This is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen in my life,” one user tweeted.

While some were confused by the legitimacy of the post, they were still outraged by the comment. “Satire? Just in case… no, you get revenue from advertising. If someone wants or needs to move away, he is allowed, you cow.”

The safari flack caught was bad enough to make her make another sarcastic statement, this time clarifying the situation by admitting that several Twitter users took the original post “too seriously.”
