Skoda, one of the car brands operating within the Volkswagen Group, introduced the new version of its most popular model, the Octavia. The 2020 Skoda Octavia, which achieved much sharper lines compared to its predecessor, attracts attention with its technological features.
Czech-based car maker Skoda has finally lifted the veil of fourth-generation Octavia. The car comes in three different versions – 5-door liftback, station wagon and plug-in hybrid iV – and is much longer and wider than its predecessor.
The 2020 Skoda Octavia’s liftback model offers 600 liters of luggage, while the station wagon variant has a full 640 liters of luggage. With its changing headlamp and grille design, the fourth generation Octavia, which is very similar to the Superb model, offers three different colors: Crystal Black, Lava Blue and Titanium Blue.
Instead of the logo on the back of the vehicle, there is Skoda inscription. The 2020 Skoda Octavia comes with 19-inch diameter alloy wheels that look very impressive with LED center lights extending towards the middle.
When we look inside the car, we find a 10.25 inch digital dashboard in tablet form. This 1280 x 480 screen lets you quickly access many parameters such as sound, phone, vehicle status, driving data, support systems and navigation information. The car also has an optional 5 USB-C outlets and a 230 Volt socket.
The fourth generation Octavia is equipped with three-cylinder 1.0 TSI that produces 110 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, and four-cylinder 1.5 TSI petrol engines that produce 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The 2.0 TSI engine, which produces 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque, promises a top speed of 250 km / h and 100 km / h in 10 seconds.
On the diesel side, the 2020 Skoda Octavia comes with a 2.0 TDI Evo engine with 116, 150 and 200 horsepower options.
